Conveyor Chain Guides
Specify a plastic chain guide around the chain it must support. Source profile-matched UHMWPE rails, cut lengths and drawing-based guides with the mounting arrangement reviewed before production.

Profile. Chain. Mounting. Length. Material.
A conveyor chain guide is not selected by appearance alone. Confirm the chain geometry, running clearance and installation before approving the rail drawing.
| Purchase detail | What to specify | What is confirmed in the offer |
|---|---|---|
| Profile | Profile code or dimensioned cross-section; guide width, height and contact geometry | Approved section drawing and critical tolerances |
| Matching chain | Chain designation, standard, pitch, strand count and chain drawing | Profile-to-chain dimensional match |
| Installation | Steel channel or direct mounting; hole pattern and machine support | Rail, channel, brackets and fasteners included or excluded |
| Length | Cut length per piece, quantity, joints and required machining | Available profile/length combination, length tolerance and joint details |
| Material | UHMWPE or requested alternative; environment, color and grade requirements | Exact material grade and available documents |
Conveyor chain guide profiles
Drawings below come from our existing rail range. Select a profile family first, then confirm its dimensions against your chain and mounting system.

CKG-V Profile
Select using the exact chain designation and approved section drawing.

CKG-H Profile
Check contact geometry, rail envelope and matching support dimensions.
Request This Profile →

K Profile
Single-row profile; match chain size and the required mounting layout.
Request This Profile →
TS / T Profile
Confirm the selected section and single- or multiple-strand configuration.
Request This Profile →Send a dimensioned drawing or a sample reference with groove width, support surface, overall width and height, plus the chain drawing. Custom feasibility is reviewed before quotation.
Match the rail to the chain designation.
Selected reference combinations from our published CKG table are shown below. Dimensions are in mm unless stated. These are starting points for selection; the approved drawing governs the final order.
| Chain designation | Published pitch × inner width | Profile | Channel reference | Published B / Hc |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 06B-1 | 3/8″ × 7/32″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
| 08B-1 | 1/2″ × 5/16″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
| 10B-1 | 5/8″ × 3/8″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
| 12B-1 | 3/4″ × 7/16″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
| 16B-1 | 1″ × 17 mm | CKG | C11 | 45 / 40 |
| 40 / 08A-1 | 1/2″ × 5/16″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
| 50 / 10A-1 | 5/8″ × 3/8″ | CKG | C10 | 30 / 24 |
B and Hc refer to the dimension symbols on the CKG drawing. Channel references are supplier-specific and must be checked against the actual channel drawing.
Confirm roller diameter, inner width, plate envelope, strand count, attachments and installation clearance. Tabletop, modular and other chain types need their own chain drawings; do not apply roller-chain references directly.
Installation options to review
Channel-Supported Rail
Confirm the polymer insert and matching steel channel cross-sections, support spacing and retention arrangement.
Specify whether the quote includes the channel, its material/finish, brackets and fasteners.
Direct Mechanical Mounting
For a suitable profile, submit mounting surfaces, hole locations, countersinks and support details for review.
Keep fastener heads clear of the chain running surface and address thermal movement in the design.
Replacement or Custom Layout
Provide the existing guide drawing, machine interface and required running height when replacing a rail.
Agree joints, end treatment and entry/exit transitions before manufacture.
Expansion clearance, fastener spacing and support spacing must be agreed from profile length, material, operating temperature and load. No universal spacing is assumed.
Cut lengths for your conveyor layout
| Item | Supply information | Required RFQ detail |
|---|---|---|
| Published length range | 30–6000 mm is listed for the existing guide-rail range; confirm availability for the chosen profile and material. | Finished length per piece and quantity |
| Custom machining | Holes, slots, end features and other drawing-based work reviewed separately | Drawing revision, hole pattern and critical dimensions |
| Multiple rail sections | Joint arrangement and thermal clearance agreed for the installation | Total run length and assembly layout |
| Curves and transitions | Require separate feasibility review; not inferred from straight-rail dimensions | Radius, angle, chain model and mounting drawing |
| Tolerance & delivery | Length tolerance, stock status, MOQ, packing and lead time confirmed in the offer | Inspection criteria, destination and required date |
Choose the grade for the operating conditions.
UHMWPE
The principal material listed in our chain guide range. A candidate for sliding support and wear-contact applications.
Review chain load, speed, temperature, contamination and cleaning media.
PA / Nylon & HDPE
Alternative materials listed on the existing product page; selected by application review.
For nylon, include moisture-related dimensional change. Confirm the actual grade and profile combination.
PTFE & Special Requirements
PTFE is also listed as a material option. Chemical exposure, creep and wear behavior need separate review.
Food-contact or electrical requirements require documents for the supplied grade; color alone is insufficient.
Follow the chain and equipment manufacturer's lubrication instructions. Review the complete system before specifying a dry-running arrangement.

Conveyor Chain Guide FAQ
How do I choose the correct plastic chain guide profile?
Provide the chain designation, chain drawing, mounting arrangement and required rail length. The cross-section must match the chain envelope, support surfaces and running clearance.
Can I order a UHMW chain guide by chain pitch alone?
Pitch is insufficient. Roller diameter, inner width, plate geometry, strand count and attachments also matter. Confirm against an approved drawing.
Does the rail include a steel channel?
Only when included in the quotation. Specify rail-only or rail-with-channel and confirm channel dimensions, finish, brackets and fasteners.
Can you cut and drill the guides to drawing?
Custom lengths and machining can be reviewed. Include hole positions, end treatment, material and critical tolerances.
Are all UHMWPE guides food-contact approved?
No automatic compliance claim is made. Specify the required regulation and request documentation for the exact material grade and color supplied.
Send your chain and guide requirements.
Include the profile drawing, matching chain, installation method, length and material. Add quantity, operating temperature, speed and delivery destination.
