Chain Guide Rail

Chain guide rail is a long wear-resistant rail for supporting, restraining and guiding roller/conveyor chains. It limits chain lateral swing to avoid jumping and derailment, offering low-friction sliding support.
It is mainly made of UHMWPE, with nylon PA and HDPE as alternatives. Steel channel cladding is optional for heavy loads. Featuring self-lubrication, high wear resistance, low noise and corrosion resistance, this FDA food-grade rail normally needs no extra lubrication.

Description

Chain guide rail is a long wear-resistant rail used to support, restrain and guide roller chains / conveyor chains. It limits the lateral swing of chains to prevent chain jumping and derailment, and provides a low-friction sliding support surface for chains.
Main materials include UHMWPE (Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the most commonly used), nylon PA and HDPE. Steel channel cladding is available for heavy-load applications.
Main advantages of UHMWPE chain guide rail: self-lubricating, high wear resistance, low noise, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, FDA food-grade option available. Generally no extra lubrication is required.
