FAQ

Q1: What sizes of drive heads and tails are available?

A: We supply 45, 65, 85 and 105 series. Each series has fully enclosed, semi-enclosed, plastic and intermediate drive types with complete dimension drawings.

Q2: Fully enclosed vs semi-enclosed, what’s the difference?

A: Fully enclosed stainless steel version offers better dustproof & waterproof performance for food-grade and harsh environments. Semi-enclosed type is lightweight and cost-effective for regular industrial conveyors.

Q3: When to use intermediate drive?

A: Intermediate drive is installed on the middle of conveyor frames. It reduces belt tension and avoids slipping for long-distance and multi-turn conveying lines.

Q4: Plastic or stainless steel drive unit, which one to pick?

A: Plastic drives are lightweight, quiet and economical for low-load clean lines. Stainless steel models are robust and corrosion-resistant for heavy-load, wet and hygienic applications.

Q5: Can you make custom modifications?

A: Custom changes for mounting holes, shaft diameter and interfaces are available. Please share your conveyor layout for technical confirmation.

Q6: Are these drives compatible with modular plastic conveyor belts?

A: Yes. 45/65/85/105 drive heads & tails are specially designed to match modular plastic conveyor belts.
