Material Properties

HDPE belongs to the polyethylene family; it features a relatively narrow molecular weight distribution, a crystallinity of 80–90%, and a natural milky-white appearance (with a translucent quality in film form). With a density of 0.941–0.965 g/cm³—making it lighter than water—it is a widely used general-purpose engineering plastic. Although it belongs to the same PE family as LDPE and LLDPE, it has a significantly lower molecular weight.

Features Description
Excellent chemical resistance Resistant to most acid, alkali and salt solutions and organic solvents. It does not absorb water and is mould-proof. Suitable for chemical pipelines and sewage panels. Not resistant to strong oxidants (concentrated nitric acid).
Balanced mechanical properties Its rigidity, tensile strength and hardness are higher than LDPE. It has good low-temperature toughness and impact resistance, and excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking.
Non-toxic & eco-friendly, food grade Tasteless, complies with food contact standards. Can be used for food containers and food conveying base plates.
Easy to process & recyclable Melting point: 120-135°C, good fluidity. Suitable for hot bending, welding and CNC machining. Its processing cost is lower than UPF. 100% recyclable and remanufacturable.
Outstanding insulation performance Water absorption is nearly zero. Suitable for wire & cable insulation and electrical insulation base plates.
Low water absorption Barely absorbs water, and maintains stable dimensions in humid environments.

3. What are your MOQ and lead time?
The MOQ is one sheet. In-stock items ship within 3 days, while customized products ship within 7–10 days.
4. Do you provide test certificates?
We can provide material property reports; customers may also designate third-party laboratories, such as SGS, for testing.
5. What payment methods do you accept?
Price terms: EXW, FOB, CIF & CFR, DDP.
Payment terms: Generally 30% deposit and 70% balance via T/T.
