Q1. What is a nylon half‑split bushing?
A. It is a clamshell‑style two‑piece reinforced nylon bearing. It can be clipped onto the shaft directly without removing other shaft‑mounted components, greatly simplifying installation and on‑site replacement for conveyor systems.
Q2. What material are the split bushes made of?
A. They are manufactured from glass‑filled reinforced nylon. The material offers good self‑lubricating performance, low friction and excellent wear resistance. Extra grease lubrication is normally not necessary.
Q3. What bore types are available for this series?
A. Three standard bore versions are in stock: plain round bore without keyway, round bore with keyway, and square bore. Custom bore specifications can be developed upon request.
Q4. Do I need to disassemble the whole shaft during installation?
A. No disassembly of the complete shaft is required. Just open the two halves, clamp them around the shaft and tighten the set screws. Existing sprockets and rollers on the shaft can stay in place.
Q5. What is the operating temperature range?
A. The regular working temperature ranges from ‑20℃ to +80℃. Short‑term peak temperature can reach 100℃. Continuous operation above 100℃ is not recommended.
Q6. Can you provide samples for testing before bulk purchase?
A. Yes, test samples are available. Sample cost and courier freight are at the buyer’s expense. Partial sample fee can be refunded when you confirm a formal bulk order.
Q7. Can we get custom‑made sizes or OEM service?
A. OEM & ODM custom service is supported. We can open new injection molds according to your drawings for non‑standard dimensions. New molded items will apply to a minimum order quantity requirement.
